Fire resistance of the EI sliding gate

We offer GSF BP EI sliding gates in various fire resistance classes. The EI resistance class means that the door retains its properties (fire resistance, tightness and thermal insulation) for a certain period of time, which is 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 minutes, respectively.

EI fire resistance class:

  • EI15
  • EI30
  • EI45
  • EI60
  • EI90
  • EI120

Properties of the fire protection sliding gate

The GSF BP EI sliding gate is a reliable solution that combines innovation and efficiency to protect against the spread of fire, temperature and radiant heat. Thanks to the advanced design and high-quality materials used, our fire sliding gates are ready for immediate action in the event of an emergency.

The speed and ease of installation make them an ideal solution wherever there is space for the gate leaf on one side of the opening.

Advantages of EI sliding gate:

  • three colours as standard: RAL 9010 white, RAL 7035 light grey, RAL 7016 anthracite
  • high quality and aesthetics
  • simple assembly – all components fit right into production
  • Hygienic Certificate

Construction of the EI fire sliding gate

The GSF BP EI fire sliding gate consists of a gate leaf, a running track unit, an entrance pocket, a ballast unit and a wall stop.

The door leaf is made of fire-resistant panels, connected to each other by steel rods. In the upper part of the panels, the elements of the running system are mounted. The gate leaf is hung on a rail. The runway track is made of steel running rail, protected with cover elements.

The entrance pocket is mounted along the vertical edge of the opening and covered with profiled metal sheet.

How a sliding gate works

The GSF BP EI sliding gate is suspended in the running rail and held open by an electromagnetic holder connected to the control unit. The gate is closed by gravity, with the use of a counterweight-ballast.

In the event of a fire hazard, the control panel releases the magnet and the gate closes the passage between the fire zones when it receives a signal from a smoke detector, heat detector or fire alarm system.

The gate leaf can also be released manually using a special push button or manual call point button.

Application of fire sliding gate

GSF BP EI fire sliding gates are easy to install and can be used in both new buildings and existing buildings, indoors and outdoors, providing comfort and complete safety for people and property.

They are used as vertical movable partitions separating passages between fire zones in accordance with current fire regulations. Thanks to their compact design, they work well wherever there is enough space on one side to install the gate.

They are successfully used in industrial facilities, storage rooms and public buildings, multi-family residential buildings and other buildings.

Additional options for the fire sliding gate

We also offer our EI fire sliding doors with additional options that are tailored to the specific requirements of your facility.

Fire resistance of the EI telescopic sliding gates

We offer multi-leaf telescopic sliding gates in various fire resistance classes. The EI resistance class means that the door retains its properties (fire resistance, tightness and thermal insulation) for a certain period of time, which can be 30, 60 or 120 minutes, respectively.

EI fire resistance class:

  • EI30
  • EI60
  • EI120

Features of the telescopic fire protection sliding gate

The telescopic fire sliding gate is an effective solution that provides protection against the spread of fire, temperature and radiant heat.

The multi-leaf telescopic sliding gate works well wherever there is a limited amount of space on one side of the wall opening.

Advantages of telescopic sliding gate:

  • possibility of making the gate in large sizes
  • colours as standard: RAL 9010 white, RAL 7035 light grey, RAL 9002 grey, RAL 7016 anthracite
  • high quality and aesthetics

Construction of a telescopic fire protection sliding gate

A multi-leaf telescopic fire protection sliding gate consists of two or three door leaves that overlap each other (in the open position), a running track, a wall-stop element and a labyrinth element.

The gate leaf is made of fire-resistant panels. In their upper part, the elements of the running system are mounted. The door leaves are hung on a rail, and the whole is covered with covers. The running gear is made of steel wheels, a running rail and a closing system with a counterweight. The entire track is protected by steel elements.

How a telescopic gate works

The door is suspended in a running rail, and the leaves are kept open thanks to the use of an electromagnetic holder connected to the control unit.

If smoke or temperature detectors detect a fire hazard, the control panel or the central fire alarm system cuts off the voltage from the electric handler, slows down the counterweight and causes the door to close by gravity. Gate leaves can also be released manually with a special button or manual call point button.

Application of telescopic fire gate

Multi-leaf telescopic fire protection sliding gates are installed both in new buildings and in existing buildings, indoors and outdoors, ensuring fire safety.

They are a very good solution wherever there is space only on one side of the opening. They are used as horizontal movable partitions separating passages between fire zones in accordance with current fire regulations.

They are installed in public buildings, production and storage halls and underground garages.

Additional options for multi-leaf telescopic fire protection gate

We also offer 2- or 3-leaf telescopic fire sliding doors with additional options that are tailored to the specific requirements of the facility.

  • visible steel elements painted in any RAL color
  • pass doors
  • electric drive
