Features of a high-speed door
A high-speed door is a modern solution used as a partition between two areas. Its presence increases work efficiency, improves safety and comfort, and reduces heating costs. It provides sound insulation, eliminates draughts and heat loss.
It can be used outdoors or indoors. It has the ability to adjust the speed of opening and closing, thanks to which it works well in places where the basis is to ensure continuity of work.
All gates are equipped with an electric drive.
Advantages of the high-speed door:
- compact, lightweight design
- high quality
- wide range of colors
- quick assembly
Types of high-speed doors
- ECO / ECO PLUS - a proven and cost-effective solution, most often installed in warehouse and production facilities. The door is designed for indoor use.
- FIX - self-healing - designed for indoor applications, characterized by the ability to repair automatically.
- ACTIVROLL – an advanced solution that can be used in production and storage halls, both inside and outside the building. They have a self-healing system and wind resistance up to Class 4.
Construction of a high-speed door
A high-speed door consists of a door coat, a set of guides, a shaft housing, a light curtain, an edge safety strip or advance photocells, and a gate drive with a control panel.
The door coat is made of flexible reinforced polyester, which can be available in a wide range of colors with the possibility of making transparent stripes or windows.

How a high-speed door works
A high-speed rolling door is a type of industrial door that is designed to open and close quickly and efficiently. This is to facilitate the flow of people and goods in places such as warehouses, production halls or parking lots.
High-speed roller doors have an automatic control system that is managed by buttons, and as an additional option, they can be equipped with a remote control, motion detector or pull switch with extension arm. These systems allow users to open and close the door with ease. The gates are also equipped with a light barrier to detect obstacles and prevent collisions.
Application of a high-speed door
Thanks to their versatility, high-speed doors are used in places where there is a need for fast, efficient and safe control of the flow of people and goods.
They are most often used in facilities such as:
warehouses and distribution centers: quick opening and closing of gates allows for effective management of the flow of goods and minimizes time losses,
production halls: allow workers and materials to move quickly between different production zones,
heavily trafficked car parks: Opening and closing gates quickly helps vehicles flow smoothly, which in turn minimizes traffic jams and disruptions,
commercial facilities: most often as gateways for the delivery of goods. Their quick opening and closing helps to maintain a comfortable temperature inside the building and prevents energy loss,
sports facilities: most often as entrance gates for competitors and spectators and as gates for delivery vehicles. Opening and closing them quickly helps sports events run smoothly and ensures secure and efficient access management.
