Purchase of R&D infrastructure

GLOBAL SYSTEM SP. Z O.O. implements a project entitled "Purchase of R&D infrastructure in order to expand R+D activities in Global System Sp. z o.o." For the implementation of this project, Global System received a grant from the European Union under the European Funds for Małopolska 2021-2027 Programme.

Tasks carried out under the project

The project includes the purchase of advanced R+D infrastructure, i.e.:

• fire test furnace – 1 set.
• overhead crane – 1 pc.
• scissor lift - 1 pc.
• telehandler - 1 pc.
• smoke tightness test chamber - 1 pc.

Target groups of the project

The target group of recipients of the project effects are primarily companies from the fire, construction and ventilation industries, which will use the developed innovative products and research services (m.in. fire and smoke tightness tests). Products such as seamless smoke curtain, flush-mounted curtain and hybrid door are aimed at owners and managers of commercial, industrial, public buildings and historic buildings, where fire safety, cost efficiency and aesthetics are key. An important group of recipients are also conservators of monuments and investors modernizing older buildings, who need non-invasive solutions, in accordance with ecological norms and standards. The effects of the project will also be available to institutions and companies using the services of the B+R Global System, which will further increase the reach and importance of the project on the international market.

Project objectives

The aim of the project is to purchase research and development infrastructure that will enable the expansion of the company's R+D department by conducting industrial research and development works with the use of advanced laboratory equipment, as well as the implementation of B+R services commissioned by external entities. The project aims to develop innovative products that stand out from current technical solutions thanks to proprietary designs, modern materials and technologies, as well as to conduct fire and smoke tightness tests.

Effects and results of the project

The project will result in the creation of innovative products, such as seamless overlapping smoke curtains, concealed curtain doors and hybrid doors, which will increase fire safety and stand out with modern technical parameters. The result will also be the expansion of the company's R+D activities and the provision of research and development services, including fire and smoke tightness tests, also for external entities.
